How to Apply
Sookmyung International Summer School (SISS) allows students to gain a global outlook in their academic field as well as an exciting college life with motivated and brilliant foreign and SMU students. The summer school programs is Co-Educational, allowing male students to participate as well. There are also many opportunities to experience traditional Korean culture on and off campus through lectures and field trips. All of the SISS courses are taught in English. Make new friends from all over the world and have an awesome experience this summer.

- A copy of passport
- A copy of the most recent transcript
- A certificate of enrollment
- 2 passport sized photos of yourself
(Please write your full name at the back of the photos) - A proof of Medical Insurance (covering injuries and illnesses in Korea)
- Students from Non-Partner Universities need Recommendation Letter(No specific Form, from Office of International Affairs or Professor)
- Receipt of Program Fee Payment you made to Sookmyung Women’s Univ- Please wire the program fee to the following account under your full name
– Check is not accepted. All payment must be made before your departure
– Overseas Balancing charges should be covered by applicants
– Those who have applied for “Buddy Pick Up service”, please make sure that you do not submit the Buddy Pick Up service fee (50,000won) to this account. This should be given directly to the student upon arrival at the airport.
